Flu Vaccination
We have the 2016 Flu Vaccine in stock. Please give us a call on 6584 5244 to arrange a time for your flu vaccination.
Influenza (flu) is a highly contagious viral infection which can cause serious illness in some individuals, for example in the elderly and pregnant women.
We have the Fluarix Tetra vaccine which is the most recent vaccine and covers four strains of influenza.
If you are in one of the following groups you are eligible for the free vaccine through the government funded program:
1/ aged 65 years and over
2/ pregnant women
3/ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of 15 years
4/ those with chronic medical conditions including heart disease, severe asthma, lung conditions, nervous system conditions eg multiple sclerosis, diabetes and those with weakened immune systems
If you fall outside these categories we have the vaccine available for $18.95
