Covid Vaccination
MEDICAL ON WILLIAM
The opening of the new clinic is currently on track & doors will open Monday, 8th February 2021
We are taking bookings now through The Grange Family Medical Centre (02) 6584 5244
Dr Adam King will be relocating to Medical on William.
Dr Tennel Holborow and Dr David Lloyd will be joining Dr King at Medical on William
The fee structure will change at Medical on William.
A yearly initial consultation fee will be charged to all patients who attend –Medical on William.
Subsequent visits for patients who hold a Pension/Health Care Card or DVA will be bulk billed.
Patients that do not hold a Pension or HCC will incur a fee, see the table below

Practice Fees
From Friday 1st January 2021 , our practice fees will be increasing.
Due to running costs of the practice exceeding Medicare increases, the following new fees are below.
We are conscious that some of our patients are unable to afford the fee; therefore we offer bulk billing to children under the age of 16, Pension/Concession Card Holders, DVA Card Holders
This change is required so that The Grange Family Medical Centre can continue to provide you and your family with high quality healthcare whilst also covering the ever increasing costs of running a business.
Your doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent prior to any treatment received.

Christmas/ New Year Opening Hours
The Grange Family Medical Centre will be closed the following days over the Christmas/New Year period
Thursday, 24th December: 8am – 1pm
Friday 25th December: CLOSED
Monday 28th December: CLOSED
Tuesday 29th December: CLOSED
Wednesday 30th December: CLOSED
Thursday 31st December: CLOSED
Friday 1st January 2021: CLOSED
The practice will reopen Monday, 4th January 2021 @ 8am
If you require medical care during the period that the practice is CLOSED you can present to the Port Macquarie Base Hospital Emergency Department or in case of an emergency call 000
Fees & Billing Update
Our practice fees have now returned to normal

PHONE CONSULTATIONS
Phone consultations will still be offered to patients until the 31st March 2021. However these consultations will be charged as per the regular practice fees. Our administration team will explain the fees when booking the consultation. Fees are to be paid at the time of the consultation with the GP.

Please remember that it is not the reception staff that determine the billing. It is at the discretion of the individual Doctor.
COVID 19 Update – Self isolation guidelines for people who have visited or travelled from Victoria
Dear Patients,
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, I am asking that any patients of our practice who have visited or travelled from Victoria over the holiday break review the NSW Health advice.
Self isolation guidelines for people who have visited or travelled from Victoria
If a person who has been in Victoria within the last 14 days is already in NSW or arrives in NSW, they must self-isolate for 14 days from the time they were last in Victoria.
There are only limited reasons a person in self-islolation can leave their home, including obtaining medical care, complying with legal obligations, providing an essential service, in an emergency or to leave NSW.
Under the order you cannot go:
- to work, unless providing an essential service and you should check whether your employer has additional requirements around work attendance
- to school
- to childcare
- to recreation facilities
- to public areas
- sightseeing
- shopping
- to visit other people
